GARDENS
The Floral Guernsey Horticultural Award for Horticultural Excellence 2008 has recently been awarded to the Fermain Valley Hotel gardens. The gardens which were designed by landscapers from the Eden project, aim to work with nature and roll down the valley incorporating wild flowers that fit in with the surrounding landscape. Another highlight to explore is the ‘wild garden’, hidden away at the lower end of the grounds, where there is a feeling of tranquillity and calm, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Please feel free to stroll freely around the gardens, tables, chairs and loungers are placed around the gardens offering quiet spots for you to relax in.
