New ferry service opens between Guernsey and Alderney.

Alderney and Guernsey may be only stone throw away but some may find it challenging to travel between those two beautiful islands.  Local ferry provider, Bumblebee, has launched a new connection between St Peter Port, in Guernsey and St Anne, in Alderney. 2012 Liberation Day success

Yesterday, Guernsey celebrated 67th anniversary of island’s liberation from German occupation during WWII. Despite poor weather, Liberation Day festivities were a called a success.
