Seafront Sundays are popular days out for locals and visitors alike, where the St Peter Port seafront is closed to traffic and local eateries spill out onto the street to offer the very best food. In 2014, Seafront Sundays are on the following dates: July 13th, August 10th and September 7th. Between September 4th – 7th, enjoy the Taste Guernsey Festival which showcases the very best in local food and skills. One of the biggest events of the year is the Tennerfest in October with most restaurants extending into November. A huge number of restaurants and hotels participate, including the Fermain Valley Hotel’s two restaurants, offering a two or three course menu for as little as £10. It is a super opportunity to eat your way around Guernsey, trying a different restaurant nearly every night. The Tennerfest is very popular with locals, so it’s best to check out the Tennerfest website and book your spaces well in advance.
