The Love Of Nature
Nature is the phenomena of the physical world, collectively including plants, animals, the landscape and other features and products of the earth.
Nature is everywhere.
Nature is at our fingertips and on our doorsteps but do we appreciate it all enough?
Do you really listen to the birds, touch the trees and look at the stars and be thankful?
We all take it for granted sometimes and should love nature more. Nature is what keeps us all alive.
We are blessed to be living on an island so rich in beautiful nature, and it’s one thing that we still have during this lockdown. It isn’t going anywhere so embrace it all on your next walk, sea swim, cycle or run outside.
If you’re more aware and grateful of your surroundings, you will definitely feel better for it.
Our hotel grounds have the most beautiful plants, trees, birds, insects and wildlife, so when you’re on your next 2 hours of exercise, take a walk there and breathe it all in.
HEALTH FACT
Scientists are beginning to find evidence that being in nature has a profound impact on our brains and our behaviour, helping us to reduce anxiety, brooding, and stress, and increase our attention capacity, creativity, and our ability to connect with other people.
QUOTES FROM THE MAIN MAN HIMSELF – SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
“It’s surely our responsibility to do everything within our power to create a planet that provides a home not just for us, but for all life on Earth.”
“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”
