Animal Love
Why we love animals
We all love our fury friends whether they are cats, dogs or rabbits.
They keep us entertained, loved and some keep us fit!
There’s no better feeling than snuggling up with your cat after a long day at work, or going for a long walk with your pup.
Lockdown animal love
During lockdown they’ve kept us on our toes. We’ve been at home all day which has been a little confusing for them but they’ve loved it and so have we really.
We’re so lucky to live on such a beautiful island with cliff walks, beaches and parks to run around in with our dogs.
To spend more time with our pet is a joy. Our pets make our house a home and they can really benefit our mood.
Benefits of owning a pet
Animals help with depression, anxiety, and stress. In addition, they provide companionship and ease loneliness. They have no judgement, only love.
Here’s a great link with some information about owning a pet and the physical and mental health benefits.
There’s a famous quote ‘a dog is a man’s best friend’
Here’s why…
‘We can learn so many things from a dog’s behavior, personality, demeanor, resiliency, and most importantly, the willingness to provide their family members with unconditional love, loyalty, and companionship down to their very last breath’.
(Bernie Parent).
A dog isn’t just for Christmas, but there’s other pets you can own that are easier and give you just as much enjoyment.
Will you be getting another pet after lockdown?
