Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Directors decided to close the hotel and restaurants with effect from the 23rd March 2020. The States of Guernsey announced an island wide lockdown for all non-essential businesses effective from 25th March 2020. Under Phase 4 of the States of Guernsey Exit Strategy, the hotel was able to reopen on the 4th June 2020 with some restrictions remaining in place. From the 20th June Guernsey moved into Phase 5 of its exit strategy, resuming normal activity within the Bailiwick of Guernsey. This means the business can operate as normal within the Bailiwick ‘Bubble’ and we are delighted to welcome back our local guests. Due to the travel restrictions in place we are still unable to accommodate guests from overseas, with the exception of visitors from the Isle of Man who can take advantage of an ‘air bridge’ between Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

We are contacting guests due to arrive in the coming weeks to discuss options with regards to rebooking for a future date where possible. As the situation is rapidly evolving we would ask all our guests for continued patience, our reservations team are working flat out to help all our valued guests and we appreciate your support and patience at this time. The best way to get in touch if you need to, is to email Claire and Gisa in reservations on, please also follow us on social media for further updates.
